My Story

I grew up in Nebraska doing gymnastics, dance, and spring board diving. I continued as a collegiate Division I diver, pursuing pre-med, while earning my undergraduate degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College in 1991. Then, due to a love for the mountains and my then-future husband was from Seattle, I came west and obtained a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 1995.

For 25 years, either myself or my husband worked at Cascade Medical in Leavenworth. However, I most recently practiced at Mission Peak Physical Therapy in Wenatchee. I am grateful to have built thriving name-recognized practices in both communities and have chosen Cashmere as a middle ground for my own practice.

On a more personal note, my husband and I have been fortunate to raise our two outdoorsy children in the Leavenworth area and love it when they can visit. Things which bring me joy include hiking to mountain lakes (and jumping in!), skate skiing, and pottery.
